Michael and Stella started their relationship with a cross-country romance for the ages.  They wanted their wedding to reflect it, from the first moments of welcoming guests to the final wave in their getaway car. Their wedding day was vintage-inspired, filled with cultural traditions, that were breathtakingly gorgeous.

When Michael and Stella met, he lived in New York, she in California. With her career in fashion and his on Wall Street, New York City felt like the right place to begin their life as a married couple, but they chose to have the wedding in Stella’s hometown of Los Angeles.  Planning a wedding from thousands of miles away is no easy task, so Stella immediately hired Kristine to handle every detail of their big day, and she still says it’s one of the best decisions she made – after choosing to marry Michael, of course.

Kristine brought Michael & Stella’s wedding dreams to life.  The vows were exchanged at the iconic Saint Sophia Cathedral and the reception was held at the beautiful Brandview Ballroom.  Kristine created the perfect atmosphere for their wedding day – modern touches and honored traditions mingled perfectly together. Wedding guests were welcomed to Los Angeles with an “East Coast meets West Coast” themed cocktail reception, including gift baskets that represented everything Michael and Stella loved about their cities. At the wedding, guests had plenty of room to mingle and celebrate around the seafood bar, hookah area, open bar, and uniquely designed dessert stations.

Stella’s Reem Acra dress was stunning, and so was the gorgeous six-tier wedding cake custom designed by Kristine. Nods to Armenian culture were sprinkled throughout the event, including traditional Armenian dancers to welcome to the couple into the reception and family-style traditional dishes that were served all night long.
