Kristine and Michael met through a mutual friend, and after chatting for a few minutes, Michael could tell he’d found the perfect planner for his 30th Birthday Bash. He dreamed of welcoming his 30s with a classy black tie affair – formal, but still fun. Over the next three months, Michael and Kristine worked together to bring that dream to life. With Kristine’s years of expertise in event planning and her wide network of contacts around LA, and Michael’s passion for creating a one-of-a-kind party, they knew they could create something magical, and the party did not disappoint.
Noor in Pasadena, CA was a gorgeous venue to begin with, but after adding in hundreds of roses and florals from Petals LA, the room was transformed into a romantic wonderland. Candelabras sat in the center of every table, and soft, warm lighting brought the feel of a beautiful garden indoors. At the center of it all was a cake that was the best of both formal and fun – gorgeous tiers, impeccably decorated, with funfetti cake inside as a nod to Michael’s playful side.
The little touches made a big impact at this event. Lovely calligraphy directed guests to their tables, and perfectly coordinated accents tied every detail together, including chargers, linens, and table top mirrors. Michael’s custom-made suit made him a dapper host, and the gorgeous photos from this night ensure that he’ll be able to look back on his birthday bash for years and years to come.
